Mount Stacking
When one isn't enough
What is it?
Stacking is when we add more mounts onto the original mount in your display. This starts from 2 which is known as a double mount and is easily the most popular option.
This style tends to give your work more depth as it's sat further back from the glass. We tend to leave 5mm visibility on the base layer but we're very happy to listen to your requirements. We can stack several layers no problem but you will need to consider an appropriate frame profile to make sure it can fit.
Customer Trends
The double mount is king when it comes to stacking. We find using a 2nd coloured mount really compliments your image. Especially when pulling a particular colour from your image.
We can add as many mounts as you wish but this borders on creating your own art work which may take away from your original subject matter. Get in contact for more information.
